Open Workshop - Lino / Relief

ONCE A MONTH, WE ARE OPENING THE DOORS OF THE STUDIO ON SATURDAY MORNING FOR AMATEUR AND PROFESSIONAL PRINTMAKERS TO WORK ON THEIR OWN PROJECTS. THIS SATURDAY IS ALL ABOUT RELIEF AND LINO PRINT!

FROM 10:00 A.M. TO 14:00 P.M.

How does is work?

Each session is 55 € for the use of the studio and materials.

You can also purchase a 3 session card and book 3 sessions ahead for more studio time with a discounted price - 130 €

In addition, if more assistance is needed, we can arrange for Accompanied Work with the workshop instructor (hourly rate) - 55 €

Once the fee payment is approved - we will book together suitable dates for your project OR you can have a look at the calendar when the OW is scheduled and let me know when you’d like to attend (calendar here)

Information for participants:

  • You are required to have knowledge and experience with relief techniques ( lino or wood) and basic drawing skills.

  • For beginners: please inform yourself in advance and book an introduction course for Relief/Lino before joining the OW!

  • All materials are provided by the workshop (tools, acids, solvents and inks) except Zinc/Copper/PVC plates/Lino plates/wooden blocks and printing paper

  • Bring drawing utensils, sketches, and drafts or anything that is needed for your personal project.

Printmaking involves the use of a press, mordants, acids, solvent and other chemical materials - this should not be taken lightly —>>After the first work session, if the participant needs more assistance and shows signs of lack of knowledge or inexperience, for the safety of the participant and the workshop, the instructor is entitled to require from the participant to attend a course before joining the Open Workshop again.
