FROM 4:30 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M.
How does it work?
Open workshop invite you to purchase a 3 sessions card with 3 printing sessions of approx. 4-5 hours studio time.
Of course it is possible to book additional sessions for longer projects separately or to book a single session for a short project.
If more assistance is needed, we can arrange for Accompanied Work with the workshop instructor at an hourly rate.
As a beginner, you are welcome to join the OW and experiment with Dry Point engraving. This technique does not require previous knowledge, all you need to do is come and enjoy printmaking!
Information for participants:
You are required to have knowledge and experience with etching techniques (line and aquatint) and basic drawing skills.
All materials are provided by the workshop (tools, acids, solvents and inks) except Zinc/Copper/PVC plates and printing paper - both can be purchased from the course Instructor
bring drawing utensils, sketches, and drafts or anything that is needed for your personal project.

Etching involves the use of a press, mordants, acids, solvent and other chemical materials - this should not be taken lightly —>> After the first work session, if the participant needs more assistance and shows signs of lack of knowledge or inexperience, for the safety of the participant and the workshop, the instructor is entitled to require from the participant to attend a course before joining the Open Workshop again.
